My dad called me during work to inform me about the following:

You Chen Yiren are charged that on the 23rd May 2004 at about 12:48 pm along Tampines Avenue 4 ----> Ave 7 S'pore did drive motorcar without reasonable consideration for other road users, to wit, by filtering into the left towards the bus bay with intention to overtake a motor lorry infront from its left before cutting into the right and in so doing causing a motorist to take evasive action in order to avoid a near collision and you have thereby committed an offence punishable under section 65 of the road traffic act cap 276.

Conviction to a fine not exceeding $1000 or to imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or to both, and subsequent conviction to a fine not exceeding $2000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceedfing 12 months or to both.
