Finally found a time slot to blog before i start studying for my prelims tonight.
Have to start blogging about my wonderful birthday celebrations the past weekend. On saturday, the group of friends dubbed "best friends in the world" came and celebrate my birthday at country mana. The venue was rather changed in the end as SOME people said the food in mana was'nt exactly the most worthwhile. Rice table had a dozen of dishes set on this stove that was reeeeeally hot. Anyway, i had an enjoyable time man. It was quite a celebration though i didn't have a live band and dancing girls around. lauffed a great deal thanks to my friends. We have chloe flea flair and tim with us this time round. Nice introduction since the departure of one of our heavy weight fren. Life is just not the same without him around. Anyway kiathy was so desperate he wanted chloe flair to... the conversation went like this.
kiathy "Hey chloe, i open then you blow for me okie?", then he lifted the hotplate with a towel, gesturing frantically for chloe to blow for him. The innocent tealight candles stood motionlessly as an awkward silence fell...
My frens got me a cake! probably because we had some left over funds. It was a cake leh!! so happy. I got to cut the cake in samurai style...phew. So shuai. hhHhAAHAHA Hope we can have more of such celebrations for the rest of the year. Thankew my frens!!... thankew thankew.
On sunday my relatives came over. WOW. major celebration. Super duper tired halfway through... fell asleep on the floor. =) My mummie got me this huge cake that had this little plastic key. haha yoo hoooo, MANY angbaos. Wah, the amount trashed my new year angbaos easily. lalala Thankew mommie and daddie!!! haha
On Monday, i went to work and got a CAKE. Third one in consecutive days. phew phw phew!! haha... yo dude. cake from workplace leh! it was this smiley face from angie's the choice. lalala so funkie lah. Took half day off and went to celebrate my birthday with my lovely ahtong. The night was spent trying to look for a nice place to eat cause i didn't exactly crave for country mana... anyway we settled for olio! after much shopping, we went into the cafe for a nice dinner only to realise we have 20 more minutes before our movie starts!! A quick rush and we gulped down the food. Dumb market manager still came to us for a survey. haha got 2 free coffee vouchers in return! lalala. I got a PRESENT from ah tong. hand made one. She went to buy the materials on sunday after leaving my place...sly sly... a brown cloth, some sponge, and a few threads. wala... i have a brown/grey bag. HANDMADE. yoooo hoo. *winkz*
