Went around town today looking at museum on Hill street. Phew. My journey went like this...
1. Chinapoint Podium B #02-75 Jonathon's Art Gallery: the antique room. He has an exhibition on Snapshots of Hanoi. An amateur photographer like me taking some shots of the beautiful city of Hanoi. There are two photos which caught my eye, his representing piece "the old man with the newspaper" and another one with two man walking towards some building. The rest were so-so pieces but you have to see it for yourself before making any judgements right... =)
2. Hill Street. There I visited the Artstation, the numerous museums including the Civil Defence Heritage Centre. Learnt abit of the history of our dearest heros (some photos coming up the next few days). Didn't know there actually exist a Bible Building.
3. St Andrews Cathedral. Didn't really take any photos there although ah tong was pointing out many "interesting" subjects like multiple mud tracks with no obvious patterns and plain white buttress pillars.
4. War memorial for Civilians. Took one of my favourite shots so far there. No adjustments at all, only B&W conversion. The perspective that i took happened to make the opening at the top into a cross. (pure luck, didn't expect that until i got into the position to take the shot. I was aiming for symmetry but spotted the more interesting cross.)
5. Watched Batman begins. Sucks, but ah tong loves the "gripping & real" plot. I thought he did more destruction than saving the poor city. I think i rather turn psycho than have our buildings destroyed completely together with the water pipes and MRT tracks. Ninja... my goodness. I will watched Naruto a thousand times over before you can force me to start the first ten minutes of BB again. Btw, i was slightly disappointed at the "bat tank".
6. Took bus home. Slept and slept. Processed photos and tadah, my shot of the day!!

and hor, i was telling you about buttress pillars. not asking you to take photo of it. i asked u to take photos of the two construction workers in cute yellow caps on the platform!!
