Taken For Granted

Days fly by, weeks strolled and months crawled. My camera has been badly tortured. All the injuries without any spectacular shots has deflated its confidence. What's left is a dust contaminated sensor which desperately needs clearning. Looks like i have to part with it...

Life in Singapore is so secured we seemingly go about our daily routines like the fishes in the well decorated aquariums. Worries of political upheaval, crimes, society unrest...go hidding behind the back of our mind as the owner of us protect us with well planned strategies. Houses are provided, security well catered for, political relations with neighbouring countries topping the list... we start taking things for granted.

I did visit the civil defence heritage centre last week and managed to take this shot. It's a simple shot without much substance. Just hate the vehicles that tirelessly zoom pass, hindering my take of the centre.
