Bidding

Stressful man! I'm actually put off by the bidding system even before i matriculate. The whole thing is just like...complex! But after an hour of talk with my church fren, i've finally understood part of the bidding system. So i have a few people to thanks.

1. Gerald - for making me even read the letters from NUS when he came over to check his timetable online
2. Ah Cang - for kick starting the panic in me by showing me all the websites and stuff
3. Xintian - for taking time off to explain to me step by step, making sure i understand each step.

The last thing i need amongst all the confusion is people laughing at me telling me "hoorrr.. see lah, never go the lecture/talk." and "aiyah go read yourself lorz, it's all there on the websites". Wow, thanks man. As if that helped. Thus i've vowed to explain to any poor lost souls next year... JUST APPROACH ME. I'm not saying NUS did a bad job at desigining the websites but the tonnes of paragraphs and endless pages of instructions just doesn't appeal to me. Why can't they replace the definition for elective modules to be "any shit under ur major modules that are not complusory" instead of writing long stories...

I'm going to bathe and finish up my chapter one on Corporate Finance. matriculating tomorrow. Ahhhhhhh!!!

Anonymous said...: Well, what i can say is, NTU sucks...haha. the websites are pretty much screwd up. plus, they changed the sys for my yr, and my seniors cant really gimme an accurate prediction of wats gonna happen.

AND AND AND...they donch haf any talks explaining the elective sys. i was like attending so many other time-wasting talks brooding over wat to do...
