Tuesdays with Morrie II

Finally finished processing Liquan's wedding photographs. I hate post processing...if it's one or two for my hobby shots, it's okie. But so many!!... it became a chore. =( here is my quote of the day...
"There's a big a confusion in this country over what we want versus what we need," Morrie said. "You need food, you want a chocolate sundae. You have to be honest with yourself. You don't need the latest sports car, you don't need the biggest house. The truth is, you don't get satisfaction from these things." - Tuesdays with Morrie
It made me realise things that i've wanted are not needed. It's rather obvious but all these while i refuse to accept the fact that a lexus IS200 will not make my life better. All it does is make other who cannot afford it envy me. Perhaps that's the satisfaction. But i don't need to do that to get that kind of attention do i? Is photography an avenue of letting other notice my presence? Or am i trying to express something through it? Things surrounding my life come to a sudden stop because i don't know what's the real purpose behind them anymore. This book made me question myself. Made me think. Made me realise how stupid i've been all these while.
