Ring Ring Ring!!!

Calling schools ain't no easy task! I was trying to picture the scenario over at the other end where a call to the general office will be transfered to the staff room and thereby it rings and rings until one irritated fella picks it up and yell for the name of the teacher. Either that, or the phone continues ringing with all the teachers in the staff room plucked into ipods. With my fingers sore from pressing the buttons and the ear tired of the repetitive rings, i've managed to consolidate a few typical response.

1. "Ms XXX", yelled the answerer at the top of his voice, "sorry not around" *hang up*... i didn't even get to speak much.
2. "she's teaching,"
3. "She's on MC,"
4. "Choir teacher-in-charge?...(is there such a person? what's choir? does it go well with my nachos?) hmm, choir ar? have to check leh, call back later."
5. "Ms Gu? Ms goooH? Ms Gu#)($*3 ??"

Let me rest before calling at two. Wonder how many of them would be driving home with their heavy foot stoned down on the accelerator then... nonetheless, i've managed to pursuade two to go (i think i persuaded, either that they already intended...) amongst all the other please=leave-me-alone-to-finish-marking-my-super-boring-pile-of-shits-of-homework.

Woohoo!! i've got another module, though at a much higher cost. Today i woke up late and found that the bidding went into close bidding. Without knowing the next min bid and faced with 18 bidders fighting for 15 places, i increased my bid points from 6 to 46... hmm incidentally i got the place. =)
