Cosy Outing
There was this uncle at the hawker centre who went on and on about... Hmmm, i wasn't listening much but i remember clearly that he was complaining about Indians marrying Chinese ladies. Weird topic to bring up with a stranger and i felt that his remarks were rather racist. Nonetheless, we tried our very best to be polite and entertain him (hoping that he didn't poison our drinks as he brought it over).
Shortly after, 3 of us went to cosy bay to be chilled. (ZN, ah mei and moi). Took a couple of photos there but was satisfied by none. It's not too bad a place except for the price. Prepare an empty glass when you visit that place so you can scoop some free mineral water from the endless supply, aka Kallang river. Spent some time talking rot until the lighthouse closed for the day. =) not too bad an outing i suppose. Thank God nothing went too wrong (less the attendance).

A different view of the central library (NUS) and i purposely added a strong vignette and higher contrast that i would other wise to play around with the colours. First time shooting IR, nothing spectacular since there is the lack of the must-have lakes and blue skies. Nonetheless a totally different view of my new school.
IR will be up for the next few days. muAhahaz
i like! dont ask me why cos i usual, i just like it! (:
Looks like winter if u don't look to closely at details.. Hmm funny how the mid part is brighter. are IR shots meant to be like that? or is it caused by the filter? hmm..
shit, can't believe I'm so bored, keep going through ppl's blogs. at least this one is updated daily.. lol
It was a nice outing :) (btw I'm Ee Min not Eemin haha..all the small letters after the capital E look very ...not-nice hahah..:)
Yep hope can have more outings after tat dreaded period of scribbling on papers and pulling out hair..:)
nice photo! really looks like snow.. haha
joel: I added a slight touch of vignette which is perhaps a style i've adopted from John Washington. Though people complain about it, he stuck to his style which produces some amazing effect at times...
thanks all for the nice comments. Hopefully this will make NUS a nicer place to study in (since you got a different persepective of school now.)
andromean: yeah... dun need to go aussie for SNOW.
it does look cool, but then i think u over did it in the middle.. too bright for my taste. i like the tones at the sides tho.
