All About Love
I came home from church today and saw my sister watching this beautiful show by Andy Lau. It's a must-watch for those who love tragic romance because it can easily bring a tear or two to the eye of a guy (which by equivalence is about a pail or two for the gals). The still photography is excellent in the show and there are even "drip" scenes in there. I'm gonna watch it again before my exams, this time round in the cinema.

Hopefully the engineers can identify themselves with this. Somewhere we dine almost every other day. I'm trying to frame the canteen in the setting of "nature", artificially created around the school.
hey!! nice nice ... really brings a sentimental feel to the canteen hee..:) u gonna watch that movie? heard it's not bad...from newspaper review ha
it's beautiful. but somehow the techno edge sign... a bit of an eyesore.
anonymous...: i actually watched it already but the quality of the dvd is really bad. This movie justifies my $9.50
chiew: hmmm... we as engineers must be proud of it! (at least for 4 yrs...)
Just to clarify, IR photos are created when i add a filter that blocks visible light and let near infrared radition through to the CCD (sensor). This is not a photoshop effect. I like how the white leaves bring about a totally different feel of a rather common place. Wait till you guys see the deep blue skies.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog earlier. I love the IR photos you have posted. Which filter are you using ? I have a Hoya R72 but have yet to try it out.
seems more and more professional conversations here... filter, CCD... well, i'll continue giving comments on wat i thnk when i look at the pictures... this series, reminds me of my hometown in winter (after snowing of course), as well as stephanie sun's song -- Shen Qi. :)
hey bro.. no matter how u take it, sch is still a stressful place to be in... haha
did u find ur way to the seminar room in the end?
=21grams= : the technical details are for those who are interested. no matter how "pro" the comments become, your comment will always make a difference. tks!
haowen: Damn. There ain't no seminar room 19. It was room 9 instead. Didn't go in the end, too late for it.
Very cool IR shot. Looks like NUS in wintertime!
pfong: tks!!
