It's the time in the morning again. =) Newspaper time.
1. "Many more S'poreans are obese". Oh gosh. What has changed - Studies show that Singaporeans have 4-5 per cent more body fat than Caucasians with the same BMI!!! What it means - If your BMI was less than 25, you WERE in the healthy weight range. Now it has to be under 22.9.... which means. I AM OVERWEIGHT. Shall i kill myself...huh huh!??! no. There is NOTHING wrong being overweight. ALl i gotta do, is pick up a copy of today's URBAN (which happens to come with ST...coincidence?) and read all bout gym hunks and babes. =)
2. I cannot emphasize the importance of judging a survey results with extremem care. Time and time again, the police makes a fool out of themselves by bringing UNCOMPARABLE results together to tell their tale. I quote "The number of drivers booked for speeding also LEAPT by a DRAMATIC 68 per ceent from 48930 in 2003 to 82 135 last year" Why didn't they quote the increase in number of speed cameras, upgrade of equipment to arm every TP bike or BM/Volvo with a laser cam + PDA??? Ridiculous. "Drink driving remains a key concern....the 2929 arrested last year surpassed the 2389 figure for 2003... last year, 1131 road bloacks were set up compared to 1040 roadblocks in 2003". See my point? And i have not venture into WHERE they set up the road blocks. are the locations identical!? huh huh!? If they raise the roadblocks to 5000 a year. I'm sure next year there will be a nationwide call to ban alcohol in the country due to the 'dramatic' increase in drink driving. #*($&(@#*#@&)($*)#@(

"Stage set for cultural exchanges" Singapore became the first country to sign a MOU (Cultural Memorandum of Understanding) with England with them commenting Singapore being energetic and enthusiastic. Power of arts to regenerate cities and transform lives...arts have been central (In S'pore) to the re-evaluation and re-imaging of the city state. So... there IS hope for chorale. Perhaps funding for our future trips representing Singapore will be much easily obtainable? nah. Loads of crap. Judging from how they reject us of our much deserved "awards"...phew. All talk no actions.
4. BMW has a new 3 series... dynamic 3. Hmmm... impressive looking. I drooled. IT has the looks of the 7 series for the front but fiercer yet sleeker than 5 series. THe ass looks more like the 5 series but tamer, slightly inclinced to the Rex tailights look. The Boot is short, more like Accent's hatch back's ass...slight curvature upwards. The wheel base is wide as usual... the more i look at it, the more the front looks like that of a Z4. haha... i think i'm gonna book this car on saturday. See ya folks in my new BM!!
