Poor Service

I've dialled the number so many times and each day they tell me "i'll get the engineer to call you". Did they forget the basic rules about customer relationship? Whatever happened to the augmented products apple is suppose to provide? What shit service are you giving your customer who paid a premium price to purchase your product when you tell them that they have to wait for and indefinite time for their items to be repaired? I was totally stunned when they told me the motherboard was faulty since it was replaced merely two weeks back. Apple actually replaced a faulty motherboard with...another faulty one!? And now Apple is out of stock for motherboard?! What piece of crap news is this!? Fuming mad. If i'm getting such service as an individual, i can't imagine the kind of technical support apple is capable of providing at a corporate level. No wonder few companies are willing to switch their working system over. I might be on the verge of switiching back even. What a bad experience.

Parrot

Camera Model: NIKON D70
Lens: Tamron 90mm Micro
Exposure Time: 1/640 sec
F-Number: f/3.5
Exposure Program: Aperture Priority
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Metering Mode: Center Weighted Average
Focal Length (35mm Equiv): 135 mm

This parrot resides in the house next to my church and it makes a hell of a noise during the main service. Chose to use a shallow DOF here to bring out the parrot from its rather distracting background. It's a shy bird and i had a hard time chasing it over a fence.

Hi... Althought the DOF has helped a little to isolate the bird from the background, I still find the bright objects in the background highly distracting. I wonder if you had an oppotunity to get a cleaner background. Not easy here though if the bird is moving constantly :)

agree with eng about the background. liked the foreground though, has a rather interesting twist to it.. sorta..

anyway, about apple, wirte to them.. complain about how your ibook keeps dying and more importantly, how lousy the service is. i did a google out of curiosity and found these contacts that may be of help:

Consumer Contact
Goh Boon Yang
Telephone: (65) 6480 7637
Email: boon_yann.goh@asia.apple.com

Country Manger/Singapore
Edward Fun
Telephone: (65) 6480 7347
Email: edward@asia.apple.com

from : http://developer.apple.com/regions/asiapac/contacts.html#AMC

you might wanna google your ibook model too. for all you know, it may be a common defect. then you can use that the next time you go back to the service centre and demand an explaination (assuming it is a defect in design)
